The Yehudi Menuhin School recently approached Cobham-based Chartered Surveyors Anthony J Lewis to seek sponsorship for a new football kit for the School's team who are busy preparing for the annual match against fellow music school the Purcell School. YMS Housemaster Simon Larter-Evans was keen the boys not only played their part on the field but also looked the part.

This year’s game will be on Sunday 8 December and The Yehudi Menuhin School is determined to regain the trophy currently held by the Purcell School. The School was delighted therefore that Anthony J Lewis so quickly and generously agreed to sponsor a new football kit for the boys. With the recent addition of a new coach from neighbours Chelsea Football Club and the news that a smart new strip is now on order, the boys returned after half term to continue training for the December showdown.

John Lewis of Anthony J Lewis & Co comments “Whilst The Yehudi Menuhin School is world renowned, it is also an important Cobham institution that needs the support of local organisations. We are honoured to be able to support this great local charity in its momentous annual coalescence of the arts and sport.”

The School is delighted that Anthony J Lewis Chartered Surveyors have agreed to support the football team and is looking forward to working with the company to get behind the team and make this an occasion to remember.
