Trusts and Foundations

Trusts and Foundations have been playing a vital role in supporting all areas of our work since the founding of our school 50 years ago.

As we embark upon our exciting plans for the future, the role of Trusts and Foundations will continue to be pivotal to our success in providing excellence in musical education for gifted young musicians - irrespective of their social or financial background - for many more years to come.

We are grateful to the Trusts and Foundations that have been supporting us over the years and for making so much possible. This generosity has made a difference to the lives of many students over the years through areas such as:

Capital projects: The Menuhin Hall, the new Music Studios and extensions to Music House and Harris House

Bursaries: Provision of means-tested bursaries

Facilities and resources: Musical instruments and digital equipment

Community engagement: support for the salary of our Programme Manager for community outreach

Trusts and Foundations enjoy recognition for their support through invitations to events, along with acknowledgement in our printed materials such as concert programmes, newsletters and the Annual Review, online and through social media channels.

If you would like to support any of our Current Fundraising Priorities, or learn more about opportunities to work together, please contact Gerald Carew, Director of Development and External Relations on 07771 803037 or by email at gerald.carew@menuhinschool.co.uk.
