Musical Studies

When the School was founded in 1963, students studied either the violin (with all violinists also playing the viola), cello or piano. Since then, the double bass and classical guitar have been added to the list of instruments taught as a principal study. In addition, the majority of pupils have a supporting study, with all string players learning the piano and the pianists studying either a stringed instrument, the harpsichord or harp. Singing is also available as a further supporting study.
