YMS competition successes
We are really proud of three of our students who recently won prizes in music competitions in the UK and internationally.
Pictured from left to right:
Damian Kok won 1st Prize in the Under-18 String Recital and the Open Concerto (aka The Ackroyd Cup) Classes at the Woking Music Festival.
Mariam Obolashvili won 1st Prize and the Special Prize for the best performance of a baroque piece at the Marina Iashvilli Competition in Georgia.
Emma van Schadewijk won 3rd Prize, the Audience Prize and the prize for the best performance of commissioned work in the Dutch National Cello Competition in Amsterdam. Watch Emma in the livestream of the finals from 1:46:60 onwards.
