It was a great delight for three YMS pupils to perform last weekend as part of a concert given by our old friends, the Weybridge Male Voice Choir. The association between the School and the WMVC goes back for around 40 years and current YMS Director of Music Malcolm Singer is both the president and a former conductor of the choir.
The concert was given at the Church of Christ the Prince of Peace in Weybridge on Saturday 28 September. Soloists Coco Tomita (11), Sam Staples and Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux (both 17), together with staff accompanist and YMS alumna Akiko Chiba, were given a warm and enthusiastic reception.
