Eleven YMS students took part in an assessed Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in the New Forest last weekend. They walked for three days (roughly 20km per day), carrying all the food and resources that they needed for the long weekend.

The weather was very kind, with only one hour of rain, which was useful to test out the waterproofs!

The students were a credit to the School: they were determined, navigated well, and successfully completed their expedition, finishing with enthusiasm despite blisters and painful joints. Well done all!
