For a second year we were delighted to gather at the Ashcombe School in Dorking with hundreds of other students from the Mole Valley area to celebrate the Duke of Edinburgh Awards completed in the area in the academic year 2014-15.
Certificates were awarded by Cllr Duncan Irvine and Cllr Margeret Cooksey, Chairman of Mole Valley District Council.
Bronze Award certificates were presented to Songha Choi, Katie Morgan, Natasha Petrovic, Qing Qing Ponek, Joe Pritchard and Otoha Tabata. In addition, Songha provided an unaccompanied Bach movement as one of the musical interludes - which was received by the audience with enormous enthusiasm.
Well done to all our DofE students and many thanks to staff member Jenny Dexter who prepares them so well.
