Four YMS students, accompanied by Director of Music Malcolm Singer, flew off to Holland on 19 January to spend a week at the junior department of the Royal Conservatoire at The Hague in Holland. Whilst there Haim Choi, Cosima Soulez Larivière, Qian Hui Ho and Cansin Kara will attend lessons and in particular take part in chamber-music classes with students both from The Hague and from the Carl Maria von Weber High School of Music in Dresden.
They will also be repeating the performance of Britten's Third Quartet which they gave to such acclaim in the special Britten Centenary Showcase Concert back in October. We look forward to hearing all about it on their return.
