Mini Menuhins commencing in January 2024
After a successful pilot phase of Mini Menuhins throughout our Autumn Term, we are pleased to announce that our full programme will be commencing in January 2024. Over the last 11 weeks, we have welcomed 16 children aged between 4 to 7 years old across our two classes on a Tuesday afternoon (16:30-18:00) and Saturday morning (09:30-11:00), and we hope to welcome lots more children in the new year.
Mini Menuhins pupils focus on three core areas: yoga, musicianship, and instrumental. They are taught how to relax and centre themselves in yoga, focus on pulse, rhythm, pitch, and movement in musicianship and learn to play violin or viola in their instrumental classes. In January we will be adding cello to the programme!
