Following the success of our new Baby Menuhins classes, we are expanding our Juniors programme with the launch of Mini Menuhins. The pilot phase of this new programme commenced in September 2023, and we are on the lookout for more children to join us.

Mini Menuhins is for children aged 4-7 years old and will include musicianship, mindfulness and yoga, as well as group instrumental lessons.

Classes will take place weekly, and children can attend on Saturday morning (09:30-11:00) or Tuesday afternoon (16:30-18:00) throughout term-time. Please take a look at our term dates.

The timetable will be as follows:

• Children’s yoga/mindfulness class (15-20mins)
• Group musicianship class (20-30 mins)
• Small group instrumental lessons (20-30 mins)

Please note that all parts of the session are compulsory for all children.

The whole session will last 1 hour 30 with the inclusion of a short break. Timings are provisional and as we work with the children in this new programme, we will begin to adapt class lengths based on feedback and observations.

The initial instrument offering will be violin and viola, with plans to expand to a broader range of instruments as we develop the programme. All pupils will have the option to rent an instrument whilst they learn with us (though some parents may choose to buy their own) and we will provide larger instruments as they grow. Instrument rental will be £30 per term per instrument.

The pilot phase of Mini Menuhins will be offered at £130 for the Autumn term (50% off standard term fees of £260 per term).
