The Headmaster writes: It was a great pleasure and honour for Elaine and me to be invited to the formal opening on 4 November of the new building at Cobham Free School (whose Head is Michaela Khatib, fomer outreach officer at YMS).

This year we have increased our delivery of the Chance to Play project at CFS - teaching young children to play violin and cello - to two days per week. The teaching is led by by YMS violin staff Diana Galvydyte and Oscar Perks, together with some of the School's most senior pupils.

In recognition of our partnership with the new school, CFS has named one of its four houses Menuhin House (another is named Chelsea, in view of the help given to the PE programme by Chelsea FC). Pieces of artwork have been commissioned to represent each of the houses. Pictured above is the one which represents Menuhin House.
