In its regular 'Yesteryear' page, the Leatherhead Advertiser (7 November 2013) printed the above photograph and story, originally published in 1973, recording the performances of two YMS pupils at the opening of a new Church Hall for the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, Bell Lane, Fetcham. The two pupils are Melvyn Tan (piano) and Krysia Osostowicz (violin).
Krysia will be be back at the School to play in The Menuhin Hall with Colin Carr & Friends on 11 January 2014; Melvyn will back with four other alumni for Melvyn Tan and Friends on 22 April 2014.
