A few weeks ago, a very generous donor challenged us to raise £80,000 between now and 20 December for the School’s Bursary Fund and agreed to match all donations pound for pound.
We are thrilled to report that, thanks to an incredible response to our campaign, we have now met our £80,000 target! On top of that, to celebrate this season of goodwill, our donor has agreed to match all further donations between now and 20 December up to a total of £130,000!
We are immensely grateful to all those of you who have made a donation so far – your support will enable us to offer bursary-assisted places next academic year to talented young musicians who have the potential to thrive at the School, but do not have the funds to attend. Each year we need to raise around £600,000 for bursaries alone in order to offer places to deserving children who would not otherwise be able to attend the School.
