We were delighted to welcome to the School Lewis Kaplan, a senior professor of violin and chamber music at the Juilliard School of Music, as well as on the staff at Mannes College, both in New York. Professor Kaplan spent a day at the School coaching some of our young violinists. He was very impressed by the ability of our students and they certainly gained a great deal from working with him.
