We are always extremely proud to share the successes of our pupils. On Tuesday 31st October, our pupil Inés Maro performed with the Uzbekistan National Orchestra as a result of winning the 5th National competition of Young performers contest of Estepona, Spain in May this year.

The performance was very successful, which Ines and her parents say was enhanced by the wonderful support that she has at YMS. Ines was also interviewed on the National Radio in Uzbekistan before the concert and appeared on three TV channels after the concert.

Watch Ines performing the third movement of Mendelssohn.

Inés Maro’s next performance with the Orchestra will be the Bach E Major concerto with the Franz Liszt´ Chamber Orchestra in February 2024 in Budapest.

We are also pleased to announce that our pupil Oisin won second prize at the 6th International FRANZ LISZT Competition for Young Musicians in Germany.
