This morning our Junior Department held a plant sale to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind. With the help of their teachers, they planted the seeds of different varieties of courgettes and tomatoes and nurtured them until they were old enough to be planted in the garden.

The students would like to thank the staff and other pupils who contributed both by donating plants and by purchasing. They would like to extend a special thanks to The Surrey Garden for the donation of some gorgeous geraniums and other flowering plants to the sale. The Surrey Garden are responsible for the beautiful new landscaping around the site since the beginning of the Spring Term.

There are a few items left so the Juniors will be operating a stall outside of The Menuhin Hall ahead of this Friday's Lunchtime Showcase Concert. If you are attending the concert, you will have the opportunity to snap up a bargain for your garden!

So far, the Juniors have raised more than £150. Well done!
