Autumn/Winter Season 2022/23 priority booking now open

We have announced our upcoming season of concerts, showcases, family days and lectures which promises to bring you unforgettable experiences at our very own Menuhin Hall. The over-arching theme for the season is 'Around the World' and we will be celebrating the gloriously cosmopolitan community of the school, as well as welcoming artists from all over the globe. The season will also feature the ever-popular Winter Festival from 11-14 December.

Here are some of the season's highlights:

Celebrity concerts

We welcome the Brodsky and Castalian Quartets, celebrated Irish soprano Ailish Tynan, critically-acclaimed harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani and new young talents, The Karski Quartet. And the Michael Law's Piccadilly Dance Orchestra returns for a night of dance band hits and songs from the 1920s and 30s.

YMS pupil showcases

Our popular showcases, which give you an opportunity to experience music from some of the finest young musicians in the world, will include student compositions as a regular feature for the first time.

Winter Festival 11- 14 December

Following on from the sell-out success of last year, The Snowman will again be screened as part of this year's Winter Festival Family Day, but this time with the backing of a full string orchestra rather than a string quartet. The day will also feature Tchaikovsky's well-loved Nutcracker Suite. The Festival draws to a close with a concert featuring violist and YMS Associate Artist Maxim Rysanov, culminating in a magnificent selection of Christmas-themed works for choir and orchestra.
