Last night saw our senior pupils perform in our annual concert at Wigmore Hall to a packed house. It was an evening filled with pride for all the parents, students , staff and benefactors who had come to support the performers who, as usual, did not disappoint.

The programme had something for everyone, from Martin Butler’s ethereally engaging Sequenza Notturna to Chopin’s glorious A-flat Major Polonaise performed with characteristic flair by Damir Durmanovic. Daniel Penney’s debut piece was also a raging success, played with such maturity and professionalism by the performers, who then quickly reverted to their teenage selves when they pulled their friend out onstage and clapped him on the back to congratulate him on the composition.

We wish the leavers every success in their next endeavours.
