We were delighted to welcome to School Yang Yang Cai (pictured above with Director of Music Malcolm Singer), winner of the junior section of the Young Pianists Foundation competition in Amsterdam. Some of you may remember that the School provided the orchestra which played with Yang Yang and the other finalists back in November. Part of Yang Yang's prize was a visit to the School and a lesson with YMS piano professor Ruth Nye. It was a pleasure to have her with us.
