In memory of Oscar Lewisohn
The School was greatly saddened to learn of the death of a former governor, Oscar Lewisohn, on 17 March 2024.
Oscar was a governor from 2006 to 2019 and, for a time thereafter, an Adviser to the Council. He made significant and wise contributions as a governor and had a deep commitment to the ethos of the School. In addition, he was not only a very generous donor to the School personally but also successful in securing significant donations from many individuals, trusts and foundations. The Lewisohn Room in the Music Studios is one testament to his generosity.
We all join in sending our sympathy to his widow, Margaret, and to Oscar's children.
