Introducing Baby Menuhins

We are excited to announce that we are expanding our world-class musical education to children aged 0-4 years with a new Baby Menuhins programme.

Beginning in April, Baby Menuhins will help children to develop a love of music, creativity and expression through fun and interactive weekly classes. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the expert teaching provided at our school which will help your little ones develop natural responses to music, pulse, and rhythm and give them a gentle introduction to music-making, mindfulness and yoga.

Shelley (pictured below), a parent attending the pilot programme, said “The programme is fantastic for the children's learning, my triplets, aged 3, love to attend the classes and each of them has their own favourite part. The class consists of singing, movement, percussion and yoga, and the children can dip in and out, giving them the freedom to naturally engage with the activities.

Olivia (pictured below), a parent also attending the pilot programme, said “I’d recommend it because it is just something different, that they’ve never done before. There is a variety of music, instruments and different children that you get to meet, it’s led by an expert and she’s really good at what she does. It’s such a lovely, joyous atmosphere, I would recommend it thoroughly.”

The launch of Baby Menuhins marks an exciting milestone moment for the school, paving the way to encourage children to engage in music from a very young age in a fun and safe community environment.

We are grateful for the generous support of the Skyrme Hart Charitable Trust towards the core costs of the programme.
