On Wednesday 4th October the School held a Cross Curricular Day in which teams of four teachers led sessions in the Menuhin Benthall Room, the Kentner Room and the Square Room. Devoted to research, handling data and writing and communicating, it spread across the traditional subject boundaries and saw all pupils and teachers exploring the theme of 'Climate Change'.

Pupils researched information on the internet, drew and interpreted graphs, dealt with large amounts of data and, in the end, prepared persuasive speeches and longer essays discussing a topic with which they had, by now, thoroughly got to grips. All in all, it was not only an enjoyable day but also an effective way of addressing both a very timely topic and a broad, and relevant, range of skills.
