Viviane played Ravel's Tzigane at the 3rd China-UK International Music Festival on 19 January 2020 and won a Gold Award. The Awards were presented during a concert of original compositions for combined Chinese and Western Instruments at The Shaw Theatre the next evening which Viviane attended with Richard Tanner. Alumna Anna Cashell was among the performers and she played a duet on violin with a traditional Chinese stringed instrument, a Guzheng. Viviane's award was presented by the Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Ruth Bush.

The Music Festival aims to act as a professional platform for the musicians and music enthusiasts from both countries to connect with each other and promote the cultural exchange between the two countries.
