We regret that, owing to the problems in Ukraine, Valeriy Sokolov was unable to obtain a visa to allow him to enter the UK and perform in the concert on 15 May. We are delighted that other alumni have graciously stepped into the breach so that the concert programme can go ahead as planned. Vlad Maistorovici will play the violin in the Beethoven Trio and David McCarroll will be leading the Dvorak Quintet, with Vlad Maistorovici playing the Second Violin part. Agate Darashkaite will play the Prokofiev Sonata for Two Violins with Vlad Maistorovici. We apologise to our Patrons for any disappointment caused. The situation, as you will appreciate, is completely out of our control.
