Yehudi Menuhin was born in the United States of America and made his first public appearance at the age of seven with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Over the years, the Yehudi Menuhin School has welcomed a number of pupils from the US, and many of our alumni have chosen to further their musical studies in leading US institutions such as the Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute of Music.

The US Friends of Yehudi Menuhin School was formed to support the School’s work across the world. The US Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation so donations are tax deductible for USA taxpayers.
