The DaCapo Music Foundation

We have worked in partnership with the DaCapo Music Foundation to develop an engaging and structured musical curriculum for our Junior Menuhins programme, ensuring that children get the best all-round start to their music learning.

The DaCapo Music Foundation is a music education charity with a thirty-year history of educating young people using a distinctive approach that comprises the influences of Kodaly and Eurythmics. Read more about the curriculum and teaching methods. (link to teaching methods page).

The charity has a team of thirty teachers working at its flagship Saturday Music Centre in North London, in schools and independently.

DaCapo has evolved from being a Saturday morning music school into an organisation which runs: Saturday Music Centres; School Music Partnerships; Teacher Training Programmes; Family Concerts; Summer Schools and Special Projects, with valued partners including the Yehudi Menuhin School, Fantasia Orchestra, the Proms at St Jude’s and the Little Angel Theatre
