YMS is proud to report that its pupils passed 100% of their A Level examinations, including a superb 63% at grades A* to A and 86% at A* to B.
Head Robin Harskin said: "We are so proud of our pupils. Not only do they achieve stellar levels of musical performance, but they also attain the top grades in academic exams, through their dedication and diligence, and the expertise of their devoted teachers."
These remarkable results crown another busy academic year and an inspiring calendar of concerts. From performances at our own Menuhin Hall, to Kings Place in London, tours to the far corners of Scotland, and competitions including BBC Young Musician and the Guitar Foundation of America’s International Youth Competition, we have seen our pupils truly thrive.
We send our warmest congratulations to all our leavers as they embark on the next stage of their education at some of the world’s most prestigious music institutions, including the Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Maastricht Conservatoire, and the Norwegian Academy of Music, among others. Whether you have been with us for two years or nine, you will be a lifelong member of the wider Menuhin family – and we look forward to following your continued success in the years ahead.
